A chance meeting in Birmingham led to a better work life for GoCruise franchisee Ted Knights.

As luck would have it, Ted was up in Birmingham at the time of the annual franchise exhibition at the NEC in October 2006. Sufficiently interested, Ted went along to examine all the options open to him. In particular, with a keen interest in cruises, Ted found the GoCruise stand difficult to resist. And after talking to the company's franchise manager Geoff Ridgeon, his life was about to take a significant turn.

'I went back home, talked it through with my wife and then we went back the following day. The rest, as they say, is history,' says Ted.
