Bleeding in the brain caused student's death, autopsy finds.

Sep. 25--A college student from Winston-Salem who was found dead in Wilmington early Sunday morning died from bleeding in his brain, according to autopsy results released yesterday.

Police said that it is not clear what caused the bleeding, but that Samuel Paul Flinn had been involved in a fight shortly before his death.

There were no visible wounds on Flinn's body and no weapon was found, authorities said.

"It remains a mysterious case," said Lucy Crockett, a spokeswoman for the Wilmington Police Department.
