Next week's hottest dance ticket is free, but get there early, because there are fewer than two hundred seats. On Sept. 18 at 6, the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, in its Bruno Walter Auditorium (111 Amsterdam Ave.), will show what is probably the world's most famous pirated ballet film, the movie that the photographer Bert Stern, shooting from a lighting booth, made of the first performance of Balanchine's 1965 "Don Quixote," with Balanchine playing the Don and the nineteen-year-old Suzanne Farrell as Dulcinea.
