Area United Way picks next campaign leaders.

Sep. 15--The River Region United Way has selected four area businessmen to lead the agency's annual campaigns until 2011.
Current campaign vice chairman Will Sellers of Balch and Bingham will lead the 2008 donation drive. Dave Borden of the Aldridge Borden Co. will serve as the 2009 chairman, Gordon Martin of Alabama Power Co. will serve in 2010 and Daniel Hughes of Summit America will serve in 2011.
Each businessman will serve as vice chairman of the campaign committee, then become chairman the following year.
Current chairman Bob Ramsey announced the agency's succession plan at a news conference Friday in Montgomery. …
