Sep. 15--RAEFORD -- Unilever will create 25 new jobs at its Hoke County plant and invest $10.6 million over the next three years, Gov. Mike Easley said Friday.
Unilever, a manufacturer of home- and personal-care products and foods, plans to expand the Hoke plant, which produces name-brand toiletries.
The expansion was made possible in part by a $60,000 grant from the One North Carolina Fund, which helps the state recruit and expand industry by providing financial assistance.
