BRIEF: No races this week at MRP.
Sep. 14--For the first time since the 2007 season opened March 17, no races are scheduled at Marysville Raceway Park this Saturday night.
Action resumes Sept. 22 with the California Sprint Car Civil War Series, followed by the 11th West Coast Dwarf Car Nationals on Sept. 27-29.
During the nationals, the final Marysville Raceway Park street stock and mini-stock points races will be held.
Last week, Phillip Shelby of Yuba City recaptured the series points lead in the street stock division over Heather Bartlett of Yuba City, 746-745. Bartlett had led by one.
