Leonard joins Intermarine's Asia office.

A veteran in the management of breakbulk and project cargo, James Leonard has been appointed to Intermarine's Shanghai office, the company announced this month.

Leonard, who joined the New Orleans-based firm in 1991, was named vice president. He will oversee all agency operations, traffic and documentation for Intermarine's Far East, India and Persian Gulf services.

"He brings to Asia more than just decades of experience in project transportation; he brings the passion of Inter-marine's customer- focused approach to service," said Richard Seeg, the company's Asia manager.
