A healthful diet that includes omega-3 fatty acids, such as those found in oily fish, may reduce the risk of developing colon cancer, according to new research that says the type of fat you consume may be more important than the amount. The Study of Colorectal Cancer in Scotland followed 1,455 people with colon cancer and 1,455 without the disease.
