Three years ago, two brothers, Jesse, 23, and Ben Spiegel, 21, were driving back to college when they conceived of a beer pong table business that would capitalize on the college beer pong craze.
Beer pong players themselves, they saw the potential of the beer pong business. They decided to make portable, fold-up beer pong tables that would have slick, glossy finishes like snowboards. They knew the tables had to be very durable and cheap. Students were used to playing on dormitory doors that they would take off their hinges. The ones the Spiegels wanted to make would fold up and store in a closet or under a bed. So they had the idea; now they had to figure out how to make it happen.
