Marilyn Neeley, chair of the piano faculty at the Catholic University of America, has died. She was 69.
She graduated from the University of Southern California as a music student and earned a master's degree in philosophy and religion there. She joined the faculty of Ohio State University, where she met her future husband, violinist Robert Gerle.
