Filling Up: Officials say school system's free-lunch program fed more this summer than last.

Aug. 4--The children calmly walked into the cafeteria at Forest Park Elementary School at about 11:30 a.m. yesterday, collected their trays and food and sat down at the long tables.

The calm didn't last long. About five minutes later, the children were doing what children often do in a cafeteria -- playfully arguing, complaining about the food and tossing the occasional carrot stick.

The children were from the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Clubs and were at Forest Park for the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County school system's summer feeding program.
