CHANDIGARH, Aug 3 Asia Pulse - Online auction major eBay on Thursday said it is planning to enter smaller towns across the country to tap the growing demand for technology and lifestyle.

"Increasingly, brands are setting up an online presence, which enables them to fulfill the demand created by their national media campaigns from buyers in B-C cities. Brands are now looking at online marketplaces to increase penetration and fulfill demand from buyers in small towns," eBay India's Chief Marketing Officer Rathin Lahiri told reporters here.
