ADELAIDE, Aug 1 Asia Pulse - The world is watching Australia's geothermal industry as an exciting form of renewable energy, federal Industry Minister Ian Macfarlane says.
Mr Macfarlane told the hot rocks energy conference in Adelaide the geothermal industry was growing quickly with 27 companies involved in hot rocks exploration.
"Our vast untapped geothermal energy resources could ultimately pay big clean energy dividends for Australia," Mr Macfarlane said.
