NEW DELHI, Aug 1 Asia Pulse - India on Tuesday said it has set up a task force to address Pakistan's complaint that rules such as quality standards act as barriers for export of its goods like cement to the country.
At the secretary-level meeting between the two countries that began here on Tuesday, the Indian side also asked Pakistan for a list of 20 products which might be facing non-tariff barriers resulting out of infrastructure bottleneck.
"We have asked them to give us a list of these items and we will facilitate trade in them," Commerce Secretary G K Pillai told reporters.
Pillai is leading the Indian delegation in the two-day talks under the ongoing composite dialogue, while the Pakistan team is being led by Commerce Secretary Syed Asif Ali Shah.
