KATYHMANDU, Aug 1 Asia Pulse - India has taken Nepal's request positively to provide assistance to connect Kathamandu with southern town Birgunj through a railway network.
Indian ambassador to Nepal Shiv Shankar Mukherjee on Monday said that New Delhi has taken the request of the Nepalese government to help construct a railway line from Birgunj to Kathmandu positively, the Kantipur daily reported.
