Jul. 27--Several suitors of Armstrong World Industries have dropped out of the bidding, a financial Web site reported Tuesday.
TheDeal.com said that Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co., Mohawk Industries and Koch Industries are no longer pursuing Armstrong, which offered itself for sale in mid-February.
Another source said the auction process was delayed by the appearance of two new bidders, but other sources told TheDeal.com they doubted any new suitors have appeared.
Armstrong spokeswoman Meg Graham declined comment on the sales process.
