THE DARKER NATIONS: A PEOPLE'S HISTORY OF THE THIRD WORLD
By Vijay Prashad
New Press, 364 pages
IN HIS ELEVENTH BOOK, historian Vijay Prashad situates the Third World as a largely political and economic project whose alliances challenged the Western imperialist status quo.
