PDF to HTML converter opens up web

Dublin-based company RiverDocs has released a product that converts PDF files to HTML, enabling organisations to comply with accessibility laws and make web content more searchable.

"There are a billion PDF files on the web," said RiverDocs commercial director Fergus Brady. "But PDF is fundamentally designed for print consumption. Onscreen, it doesn't meet any of the usability criteria."
