Jul. 3--A neighborhood prayer vigil is planned for today for an 11-year-old killed Monday when he accidentally impaled himself on a fence. A neighbor remembered the boy as a quiet kid who liked baseball and made it a point to watch out for younger children.
"He was very kind to the younger kids--that's what struck us about him," said Bill Figel, who lives around the corner from Nathan Dombrowski's family in the 2100 block of West 108th Place. "He had a shy way about him that sometimes you welcome in kids."
