INDONESIA'S TELKOM ANNOUNCES DIVIDEND OF US$0.03 PER SHARE
JAKARTA - State telecommunications operator PT Telkom Tbk. has decided to set aside 55 per cent of its 2006 profit amounting to Rp6.065 trillion (US$673 million) to pay dividends.
In its general shareholders meeting here Friday, the company agreed to pay a dividend of Rp303.205 (US$0.03) per share.
SK TELECOM OUTPACES RIVALS IN GAINING CUSTOMERS IN JUNE
SEOUL - SK Telecom Co. (KSE:17670), South Korea's No. 1 mobile service provider, far outstripped its two rivals in attracting new customers last month, according to data released by each company on Monday.
SK Telecom said in a statement that it gained a net 278,109 new subscribers in June, raising its subscription base to 21.35 million.
