BSR AUSTRALIA BACK IN BLACK WITH US$1.2 MLN PROFIT
MELBOURNE - BSR Australia, the parent company of Betta Electrical and Chandlers, is back in the black for the first time since its predecessor went into administration last year.
The new parent company was formed by a consortium of Betta store franchisees, who pooled their equity and ambitions to buy out the assets of Betta Stores Ltd after it went into receivership.
US EMERGES AS INDIA'S TOP HARDWARE EXPORT DESTINATION
NEW DELHI - The United States has emerged as the top export destination for India's electronics hardware with products worth US$25.78 billion landing in that country during 2005-06, about 27 per cent of the country's total exports.
The hardware exports to the US accounts for 96 per cent of the total exports of US$26.83 billion to the North American region, Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC) said in a statement.
