Authorities said that 12 stores did not sell alcohol to a minor during the Tuesday sting, a joint effort of Punta Gorda detectives andinvestigators from the state Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco.

Arrested were: Penny McWilliams, 59, a clerk at the Sweetbay liquor store, 10175 Tamiami Trail; and Mandy McLean, 23, an employee of the Burnt Store BP station, 3949 Tamiami Trail.
