Our Lady of the Wall Sarasota's Sharon Denitto has dedicated much of her adult life to veterans of the Vietnam conflict.

Denitto has traveled the country for the past 12 years, serving as a volunteer at The Moving Wall, one of many portable replicas of the original Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C.

She sets up camp with three computers, three printers and a laminator and bulletin boards filled with information during the weeklong exhibits.

With help from friends, she has compiled databases of information on all the names on the wall. (The original wall contains 58,256, but there are duplications; The Moving Wall has 58,217 names.)

Denitto can tell the soldiers' casualty date, location and classification, date of birth, the unit they were assigned to and where to find them on the wall.
