Jun. 28--Corporate executives live for the sort of year that Mary F. Sammons could boast about Wednesday at Rite Aid Corp.'s annual meeting in Harrisburg.
It's always easier to face the shareholders when you have great numbers and a big acquisition to include in the presentation rather than having to talk about restated earnings, indictments and desperate efforts to keep the company afloat.
The bad days are in the past at East Pennsboro Twp.-based Rite Aid, where Sammons is chairman, president and CEO.
