In April, the Food and Drug Administration approved the Accent Dual Mode RF system for the treatment of wrinkles and rhytids.
The approved indication is for "use in dermatologic and general surgical procedures for the non-invasive treatment of wrinkles and rhytids using combined treatment with UniPolar and BiPolar," which are two radiofrequency (RF) modes, according to the approval statement on the FDA's Web site.
