Popular photography article.(Diffuser)(Brief article)

I was delighted to see Peter Kolonia's article, The Camera Club Laughs Last, in the April issue of Popular Photography magazine. This is the first positive set of comments I have ever seen in the mainstream photographic press about Photographic Society of America (PSA) or camera clubs in over forty years.

All the PSA members who contributed to this article are to be strongly commended ... from President Frieders, Wade Clutton, Stan Ashbrook, and others who furnished excellent background material.

We are indeed seeing a very substantial increase in membership in PSA-affiliated clubs here in the Pacific Northwest, and the arrival of digital photography is clearly the reason.
