French media companies Vivendi Universal, Canal Plus Group and Lagardere have announced a draft agreement under which Lagardere would acquire a 20 per cent holding in Canal Plus France. The deal, if completed, would effectively combine all the French pay-TV assets of Canal Plus Group and TPS.
