CHINESE CARMAKER CHERY IN BRISK PRODUCTION AND SALES
HEFEI - Chery Automobile based in east China's Anhui Province turned out 36,142 vehicles in May this year, and sold 38,865 units, respectively rising 69 per cent and 75.8 per cent year on year.
Of this, sales of Chery QQ series cars amounted to 12,639 units, and that of new Qiyun cars 10,917 units.
RANBAXY RECEIVES USFDA NOD FOR AMLODIPINE BESYLATE TABLETS
MUMBAI - The country's biggest pharmaceutical firm Ranbaxy Laboratories (BSE:500359) on Wednesday said it has received tentative US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) approval to market its anti-hypertension tablets, Amlodipine Besylate, in the US.
Ranbaxy has received the approval for the tablets in 2.5 mg, 5 mg and 10 mg strengths, the company said in a communique to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
