Customer service suffers
Many global consumer technology companies alienate customers by providing only average customer service, new research claims. A study by Accenture found wide-reaching disparities in the perception of service between technology companies and their customers. Accenture said although many companies claimed to provide a better service than their customers reported, they could be deluding themselves and pay the price in lost sales.
