When to call the helpline
If none of this has helped, then it may be time to call your ISP's technical support line. Before you start, get a notepad and pen, and have a bit of a think. You may be convinced that the problem is down to a piece of software, but that may not be the case. Gather information on the problem -- what works and when -- and take a scientific approach.
