Eileen Keel, NCTM, an independent music teacher from Lansing, Michigan, died March 26.
Keel was a charter member of the Capital Area Music Teachers Association (CAMTA), the Michigan Music Teachers Association, The National Federation of Music Clubs and Lansing Matinee Musicale. She served her local MTA as secretary, student achievement testing chair and president. At the state level, she was SAT handbook chair, second vice president, first vice president and president. Keel also served as East Central Division president for MTNA.
