In Alabama, the Baldwin County MTA held scholarship auditions to support music summer camps or lessons. Wendy Bramhall's program, A Music Teacher's Toolbox for Creativity, was presented to the Huntsville MTA. The Metro Music Forum recently hosted its Theory Achievement Exams. The Shoals Area Piano Teachers Forum held a Musical Olympics event, and the forum received a Local Affiliate Grant from Alabama MTA to support its Pipes, Pedals & Pizza event. The Wiregrass Music Teachers' Forum held a Sonata/Sonatina Festival, awarding scholarships to piano camp students and former students who are college music majors.
