The immigration debate is heating up around the country. While President Bush works hard to push a comprehensive immigration reform bill through Congress before the end of the year, and some members in the United States Congress work diligently to pass immigration legislation, such as the amnesty providing Security Through Regularized Immigration and a Vibrant Economy (STRIVE) Act, various state legislatures are introducing their own legislation that oppose illegal immigration.
