As part of the voice component of evolving next generation of communications, Siemens Home and Office Communication Devices (SHC) announced that it is offering the DECT 6.0 portfolio of Gigaset telephones, including models E450, S450 and S455.
The availability of Siemens DECT 6.0 products is the next group of products that follow the approval of DECT 6.0 standard for wireless communication frequency in the United States. These new products provide a new level of voice quality, coverage, availability and security, which is increasingly important as the number of in-home networks and devices grows.
"Even with all the new data applications coming out daily, voice is still the most intimate component of communication," said Gerd Pasedag, CEO, SHC. "This intimacy will always bring relevance to voice regardless of the method of delivery.
