I'm dying for SANS's Bamboo dress. It's creative and crazy yet wearable. American Apparel is where I get basics for working in the studio as an architecture grad student. Both companies focus on cut and comfort rather than fussy details, and they place importance on the manufacturing process: American Apparel takes a stance against sweatshop labor, while SANS utilizes natural fabrics.
