Energy & Power Management debuts in June: BNPMedia announces name change: serving the commercial, industrial and institutional markets.(Brief Article)
BNPMedia and Publisher Peter Moran announced name change for this publication. Effective with the June 2005, Energy & Power Management will be the new name of the retitled publication. Moran said, "Energy & Power Management provides a more accurate description of the information we have been providing to readers. The name change allows us to recognize changes in the market that began as early as 2000 and accelerated with 2003's blackout."
Moran explained that readers are as concerned about reliability as about price. "Our readers are very concerned about energy use and cost," he said, "but they are very sensitive to risk because of the increasing use of electronics throughout the enterprise."
