Jonathan Turley, a well-known constitutional law scholar, doesn't hesitate when asked who the biggest inspiration in his life was: "My father taught me a great deal about what it is to live an honorable life.

"Honor meant a lot to him, and integrity meant a lot, and he really emphasized that in a very quiet way, always by example," he said.

"My father and I were unbelievably close," added Turley, 43, a professor of law at George Washington Law School in Washington, D.C.

"He was without question my best friend. I'll never have a friend like him. We could literally talk for hours at the kitchen table," he…
