In the early decades of the twentieth century many innovative designers, architects, artists, scientists, engineers, and other creative people sought refuge in the United States. Vienna-born Paul T. Frankl was one of these talented souls, who settled first in New York City and later in Los Angeles. Until now, the facts of his life (including the year of his birth and the place and date of his death) have been sketchy or incorrectly published.
