Eighteenth- and nineteenth-century folk and decorative arts united by the theme of affection are the subject of Made for Love: Selections from the Jane Katcher Collection of Americana. On view until August 26 in the newly renovated Yale University Art Gallery in New Haven, it includes some forty works, among them paintings, watercolors, needlework, furniture, tools, and toys. The exhibition was organized by Erin E. Eisenbarth, the Marcia Brady Tucker Curatorial Fellow at Yale Art Gallery.
