AT THE SOUK
My next collection will center on the fabrics I bought last summer at the bazaar in Shiraz, in southern Iran. I love folkloric pieces-it's my oriental side, which is balanced out by occidental craziness and the London influence on the other side. When I travel there, I usually wear a customized trench and a red head scarf. It's my way of playing by the rules but still being different!
ON THE TOWN I am so tired of seeing people in jeans and T-shirts! Going out is a special occasion, so why not wear beautiful pieces? When I go to L.A. I wear lots of little dresses from my collection, and in Paris I really dress up.
