WASHINGTON, May 31 Asia Pulse - The U.S. Department of Agriculture sent a letter to South Korea last week urging the country to fully reopen American beef imports, the trade journal World Trade Online reported Thursday.
Addressed to the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the letter dated May 24 asked that South Korea "complete its approval process to allow for entry into Korea the full range of U.S. products, cattle and ruminant products, including beef and beef products, consistent with OIE guidelines and recommendations."
