Thank you for your multimedia piece on Elvira Arellano's case [colorlines.com], I am a subscriber out of the Canadian prairies. Perhaps Arellano or her legal advisors or her supporters might like to look at a Supreme Court of Canada case, Baker v. Minister of Immigration. I do not think its reasoning could be directly applied in the United States, but I think that it could very easily be used to educate the public about some shameful aspects of American law.
