May 23--Administrators at the International School of Monterey will get the extra space they asked for.
The Monterey Peninsula Unified School District board voted unanimously Monday to approve a portable classroom to be added on to the school's Seaside campus this summer.
Parents and teachers came forth May 14 during a public hearing and said space was necessary for the school to grow.
