May 21--Saint Wilson might not appear in any biblical reference books, but the name works just fine for Megan Humes.
One year ago she and her classmates were moved from Millcreek's James S. Wilson Middle School to Saint Andrew School while the district completed a massive $25.3 million renovation and expansion of J.S. Wilson.
The result is a mix of the old and new, familiar teachers teaching in different classrooms, a hybrid the seventh-grader calls Saint Wilson.
Her mother, Theresa Humes, said her daughter has taken the change in stride -- but soon it'll be time to pick up roots once again.
The J.S. Wilson project is on track to reopen in January, in time for the last half of Humes' eighth-grade year.
