Continues on next page The American Psychiatric Foundation (APF) last week announced the launch of a mental health education program involving a collaboration with school communities around the country aimed at helping school personnel and parents understand and help improve mental health issues affecting teenagers.
The Typical or Troubled?[TM] School Mental Health Education program is designed to encourage and equip teacher, coaches and other adults who work closely with teens to notice the warning signs of mental health problems and refer students for help in addressing these issues.
