May 3--PANAMA CITY -- The new Bay County Library is on course to be completed by 2008, and the County Commission is moving forward with a new administrative complex.
The new $9 million library is scheduled to be completed in March 2008.
"It is going extremely well at a pretty good pace," said Ken Schnell, public works director for Bay County. Schnell said if construction on the 55,000-square-foot building continues unabated, the project could be completed ahead of schedule.
