May 3--More Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test scores were released Wednesday, this time for third- and 12th-graders in reading and math.
"We're pleased with the results," said Superintendent James McCalister of the thirdgraders. "We're still improving test scores. We did have a slight decrease in reading, but that was across the state."
Bay County third-graders scored higher than the state average for reading and math and generally much better than third-graders in neighboring counties.
