A breakfast briefing organised as part of British Tourism Week brought together the great and the good from what the Government views as 'the business tourism sector' - in other words, those organisations producing conferences, incentive travel, exhibitions and corporate hospitality within the UK.

The event unwittingly demonstrated the degree of co-operation that now exists between our industry's trade associations. The BACD, Eventia and the Events Industry Alliance are just three of the bodies working together as part of the Business Tourism Partnership to raise the profile of our industry to government.
