MANILA, April 30 Asia Pulse - The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (Central Bank of the Philippines) remains on guard for inflationary pressures like volatility of world oil prices and continued liquidity growth, despite the downtrend in the country's inflation rate from January to March this year.
This was stressed by central bank Governor Amando Tetangco Jr. in his statement delivered by Deputy Governor Diwa Guinigundo during the release of the 2007 first quarter inflation report.
