SHAHR-E-KORD, Charmahal-Bakhtiari prov, May 1 Asia Pulse - Iran is coordinating construction of dams, power plants and electricity transfer networks with 10 countries, deputy power minister for legal, parliamentary and logistic affairs said on Sunday.
Ali Youssefpur made the remarks while visiting construction projects in Charmahal-Bakhtiari province, adding that several countries are keen on cooperating with Iran in dam-building, power plants and electricity transfer networks, and making use of Iranian's technical and engineering achievements in this respect.
"Despite the limited banking facilities in the power sector, Energy Ministry is conducting export of technical and engineering technologies to Latin American, African and neighboring countries," he added.
Pointing to the generation of 20,000 megawatts of electricity by establishing nuclear power plants nationwide, he said that the amount of energy will be added to electricity transfer network of the country in next 20 years.
